Edwins is a mid sized accountancy practice comprising a close knit team of experienced professionals. The firm is structured to deliver consistency of service while maintaining the flexibility required to respond to client needs across different sectors and stages of growth. Leadership
The firm is led by Satnam Chumber, a Chartered Accountant qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He graduated from the University of Central England with a BA Hons in Economics in 1989, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997, and became a Fellow of the ICAEW in 2010.
Satnam brings over 35 years of experience across accountancy, taxation, and business advisory. His background includes more than two decades as a senior partner in his own practice, advising on business development, tax planning, accounts preparation, VAT compliance, and complex financial matters. He has worked with organisations ranging from small enterprises through to corporate groups with turnover exceeding £200m. He also has extensive experience in HMRC enquiry work, including representation in dispute resolution and investigations. His approach is methodical, ensuring clients receive precise and proportionate professional support.
Nisha Chumber leads the firm’s payroll function, bringing operational discipline and structured oversight to payroll management and compliance. As Director since 2019, she has contributed to the refinement of internal processes and the delivery of tailored payroll solutions aligned with client requirements. Her focus is accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance with UK payroll regulations while maintaining smooth operational delivery for clients.
